A little tour around my desk in 2025

I just wanted to share a short update on my workspace in 2025, along with a few thoughts on the devices I’m using and their quality. 🙂

Mac Mini M4 Pro

I love the new Mac Mini. Since I’m working 100% remote at the moment, it’s absolutely sufficient for me as a computer. I mainly use it for all my private stuff.

MacBook Pro M4 Max

This is also a great piece of kit. I need it for my 4-day job at CONSUST. But let’s be clear: it’s the more powerful machine, yet it doesn’t spark as much joy as the Mac Mini.

Apple Studio Display

The display quality, webcam, and speakers are great. Overall, I’m satisfied. What’s really unfortunate (and kind of stupid) is that it only has one Thunderbolt port. Why not add two additional HDMI ports like any other display on the market? This is such a disadvantage that I’m not sure I’d buy it again. 🙂

Wokyis M5 10Gbps

This is my Mac Mini dock with an integrated little monitor. It looks so cute! 😍 I have to admit that the display is too small, and my SSD had heat problems that I needed to fix with a heat sink. But since it’s so affordable and cute, I would still recommend it. 🙂

Apple AirPods Max

I’m torn about these. On one hand, I love the microphone and sound quality, and I really like some aspects of the build. But the mesh on the top lost its tension after a while, which made them extremely uncomfortable to wear. They’re also quite heavy. For the price tag, I probably wouldn’t buy them again.

Apple MagSafe Keyboard with Touch ID

I love it—except it only connects to one device. So I have to keep my old Logitech keyboard for work. :(

Logitech MX Master 3 for Mac

A great mouse. Unfortunately, after many years of heavy use, the rubber where my thumb rests looks weird. Apart from that, it has great ergonomics and can connect to three devices.

Anker Nano Charger (4-Port USB-C / 2-Port USB-A) I absolutely love this charger. It’s reasonably priced and such a good device. :)

XIAOMI Temperature and Humidity Monitor Clock

I love this e-ink clock. The only thing that could be improved is that it runs on CR2032 cells—rechargeable would be better. But I just love how clean the e-ink display looks. It is very handy for me to have such a big clock - otherwise I do not realize how long I am working :)

Looking at everything together, I’m pretty satisfied with my 2025 workspace. Each device has its quirks, but they all contribute to a setup that feels comfortable and efficient. I’m curious to see how it will evolve over the next year.
